Rosanna and her daughter Ashley through the years.......

November 1993   Labor Day 2001

May 2005

Rosanna Magarelli, Director

Rosanna holds a B.A. in Theater and Dance from New York University. She trained at the Joffrey Ballet School and danced with The Bristol Ballet Company. She went on to study acting at Circle in the Square and acted professionally in film, television, and theatre for many years. Today she finds great joy in performing in Cabaret shows around the city.

Following the birth of her daughter, Rosanna's attention turned to working with children. She became a Music Together teacher and witnessed the enrichment that "making music" can bring to a child's development and well being. She also introduced her daughter to Music Together (beginning at age 1-1/2), which provided the foundation for her daughter's later study in piano, ballet, and voice.

Rosanna brings a depth of experience to her leadership role as Music Together Director – both as a performer and a parent. For the past 19 years, she has created a nurturing environment for musical exploration, playfulness, and skill building for her Music Together students, families, and teachers.

photo Bill Berg

The son of a music teacher, performer and improvisor, Bill Berg has been teaching Music Together classes since the summer of 2002.  He has been fortunate enough to take his skills and joy of music-making to many parts of the country, teaching in and around New York City, Los Angeles and Las Vegas. With no children of his own (yet), Bill likes to think of himself as a "professional uncle" as he naturally gravitates to the freedom of play and silliness generally seen in young children.  His classes are high-energy celebrations of music and movement where everyone is bound to leave with a smile on their face and a little more spring in their step.
